CEMCRETE FLOOR FINISHES
A granolithic concrete material that is floated into fresh screed or concrete which colours, strengthens, and creates durable surfaces for the concrete floors. It is a special blend of cement incorporating very hard-wearing aggregates, light fast pigments and additives which set rock-hard.
POLYURETHANE SELF LEVELING FLOORS
Polyurethane acts as a shield for your wood floors. It protects the wood from the scratches and spills that come with everyday life. Urethane is available in two varieties and several sheen levels, ranging from glossy to matte. The application process can be tricky, so you will need to brush up on your skills.
EPOXY SELF LEVELING FLOORING
Self-levelling epoxy is the result of mixing resin and hardener that comes in separate containers. Once the two are combined, the mixture is poured on a surface where it flows to level itself out. It then cures to become a hard clear surface that’s scratch and water resistant.
WOODEN FLOORING
Wood flooring is any product manufactured from timber that is designed for use as flooring, either structural or aesthetic. Wood is a common choice as a flooring material and can come in various styles, colours, cuts, and species.
LAMINATE FLOORING
Laminate flooring a multi-layer synthetic flooring product fused together with a lamination process. Laminate flooring simulates wood (or sometimes stone) with a photographic applique layer under a clear protective layer. Laminate used to look as if it was made of plastic, due to appearance and design being sacrificed for affordability. Now, due to innovative manufacturing, laminate looks as if it is solid hardwood or stone but is much more affordable.
VINYL FLOORING
Vinyl flooring is a 100-percent synthetic material. In standard sheet vinyl and vinyl tiles, the base layer is usually fiberglass which is then coated in PVC vinyl and a plasticizer. The resulting sheet is printed and embossed with a surface print layer.
QUARTZ STONE CARPET
Quartz Carpet began in South Africa in 2002 after originating from Belgium almost 40 years earlier. The glacial stone used in this beautiful flooring system is exceedingly durable. The roundness of the quartz stone is created naturally through having been tumbled down glacial rivers over millions of years. This quartz floor has a particularly delightful tactile sensation underfoot. The resins used are solvent free, 100% UV stable and colour fast and contain zero VOC’s which makes it environmentally friendly as well as sustainable.
Quartz Carpet is hygienic, stain resistant and easy to maintain. Its scratch resistant surface is not dented by heavy furniture.
CERAMIC TILES
Ceramic or porcelain tiles are two elegant and versatile surfaces. These tiles can be found in kitchen and bathroom floors and on walls and backsplashes. The popular tiles are available in colours and designs to match – or create – the decor of your room.
MOSAIC TILES
Mosaic tiles are small pieces of tile that are held together in a sheet. Mosaics can come in many different shapes and are made from glass, metal, stone, real pebbles, porcelain and more.
LARGE PROFILE TILES
Large format tiles are wall or floor tiles that exceed the average 12×12 sized tile. These tiles are available in square or rectangular shapes and can be as large as 40×120.
PORCELAIN TILES
Porcelain is made from exceptionally fine clay that is fired at high temperatures to remove more moisture from the tile resulting in a hard and dense tile. The density of porcelain tile makes it ideal for high traffic areas in homes and most commercial properties. Durability: The density of porcelain tile makes it more durable than ceramic tile while being less subject to wear and tear. This makes it more suitable for commercial use as well as in the home. … Ceramic tiles are more porous and often have a higher water absorption rate.
ASTRO TURF
Artificial turf is a surface of synthetic fibers made to look like natural grass. It is most often used in arenas for sports that were originally or are normally played on grass. However, it is now being used on residential lawns and commercial applications as well
